The BLOCK's patented Friction layer design lets arrows slide between open, unglued layers of compressed foam. The resulting heat and friction "grab" the arrow stopping it with virtually no damage to the target. Because it stops arrows with friction and not force, and because the foam is self-healing when shot with a broadhead, The Block lasts much longer than other targets. Also, arrow removal is easy. Because you pull the arrow out relatively slowly, there is no heat or friction to "grab".
